In 2018, I worked with the Institute for the Future to plan, facilitate, and interpret a series of meetings with the $8b World Bank Climate Investment Fund to develop “A New Story to Spark the Future of Climate Action”
Creating an open innovation space, ensuring the right people are at the table, capturing and interpreting outcomes, and having immeasurable outcomes.
Innovation through bringing different perspectives to the table is the name of the game. We participated in the Institute for the Future’s Delphi-influenced process for futures thinking, through a series of roundtable discussions with experts, each building on the next, that by the end, would generate potential likely futures int he area of interest. In our case, it was ‘a new story to spark the future of climate action.’
