The Mobile Biochar Lab
Actively developing an on-site biochar production, application, and testing service.
Continuing development with the biochar lab that was established as part of my master’s thesis project at Western Colorado University. In the company of graduates of the program, we are able to continue scientific and academic partnerships developed during our time as students, but from the perspective of a business selling a service to a client.
This is a small and experimental business and is actively in development based in Colorado.
Associated communities include the biochar in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, the Global Regeneration CoLab, AirMiners, the Climate Wisdom Fellowship, International Biochar Initiative, US Biochar Initiative.
This project’s home university is Western Colorado University Clark Family School of the Environment and Sustainability and its capacity is based on the work of several generations of Coldharbour Institute Fellowships, and now WARM (Mine Reclamation) Fellows.
